Welcome to Trosnant Infant School
"Catching Children Being Good"
Welcome to this website which we hope you will find both helpful and useful.
We (the Governors, Headteacher and the Staff) continually do all we can to ensure that Trosnant is a happy, healthy school where children feel safe and are stimulated to learn.
The children are the heart of our school and we pride ourselves on catching them being GOOD and rewarding that good behaviour. Of course life is life and, occasionally, adverse behaviour is encountered, but this is always dealt with quickly and fairly and is never dwelt upon.

At Trosnant, we seek to equip children with the skills that will give them the best start in life. They learn to respect each other and themselves. They learn to be kind and considerate to others. They grow in confidence and, last but by no means least, we strive to see that they become independent learners who don’t stop learning when the bell goes at the end of the day, but who have the capacity to observe and to think for themselves.
Academically we have many things to be especially proud of at Trosnant to which the last Ofsted inspection bears testimony (please see www.ofsted.gov.uk/oxedu_providers/full/(urn)/115912)
We actively encourage parents to be fully involved in children’s learning and to share and reinforce the school’s aims and values so that the children are able to develop to their full potential.
If you are a parent or a prospective parent, and you have a query about anything you have read on this website, or about the school, do please get in touch with us.
